Here are some pics from the Beech Hill Pond Fly-In that took place on 18 February 2012. For those of you who live in warmer climates, this is a taste of what fun things we can do with our airplanes in the winter in Maine. Along with the fly-in, there was an ice fishing derby, and just a lot of good family fun. At the high point of the day, there were about 40 airplanes on the ice. There were 29 when I arrived and almost none when I left. It was a glorious day of flying and hanging out with great friends. This is why we live in Maine! Thanks to the Dunn’s for everything you do!
