Description:
There is no shortage of weather elements in the accident data. All too often, pilots continue VFR flights into instrument meteorological conditions. The result is normally not good! Some weather related accidents are founded on the pilot's lack of knowledge of weather theory and/or weather services. Some happen because the pilot failed to obtain a good weather briefing, or to heed the warning signs they discovered in a weather briefing. You can see the common thread. You already know what the news headline is going to say. "Pilot error". What is it that drives us to make these poor decisions?
Course Format:
Two hour video presentation and optional exam with 60 days to complete.
